they seemed kind of tired this grey Tuesday. Skylar took a mini nap before lunch, and four slept at rest time. there was a bit of bickering and drama between certain young ladies, and Eloise was in a smash and crash mood...and that said, the week is off to a fine start. they had a fine time running cars down the ramp, playing with the new mobile medical unity, setting up tea parties with eyeballs and so much more!

a happy teacher moment for me was watching Honey staple together a bunch of pages (honestly, with a bit of trepidation as i doubted they would all get used), and then she got carried away in a story about Hand-Hand and their family with ink and pen figures. She did the illustrations, I added words upon request. It's exciting to see someone take ink beyond, and really stay focused. And she used every page, both sides! and, Hazel was inspired to write a similar story during quiet activities, illustrating it with markers.

bravo
