September 30th

On this last day of September, I reiterate: this is off to be the best year ever! I'm not sure exactly what makes it so, but there is a really good vibe, and it's hard to believe that Felix and Jackie started school the second week of this month!

I was slightly worried about the Carter boys integrating into the school day after morning snack, but no problem. They rolled with it. The kids had a grand time with a rope up in the ship. Well, today it was a crocodile. They hauled each up, make webs, and tied themselves up. Cooperatively.

Rest time today was a dream. After a tiny bit of settling, they listened to the stories quietly.. Jackie fell asleep before the end of the story, and Eloise and Daniel joined him after a couple songs because everyone was still and quiet. Infact, I didn't know who was asleep. So the rest of us got up and ate a piece of congratulatory candy. Bravo.

I'm not sure there was any interpersonal conflict at all today!

And I'm pretty proud of the kinetic sculptures we made!
