November 6th

A couple brief comments

• Weslee was an excellent Outside Leader today (and was quick to recover from not being the Fish Feeder. Perhaps he has another good option now)

• Our bus driver sang The Wheels on the Bus when she noticed things getting a wee bit squirmy back there!

• We made a bus friend of a little boy and his dad who got off, went to McDonald's and found us at the track and field

• We tried our feet at long jumping

• We ran into Levi after his math test and he took us through the athletics department where we peaked in weight rooms, and then enjoyed a big shiny gym all to ourselves

• Opal went from zero to screaming a lot today with every disappointment (but otherwise was her self-expressed self

• And the drawing skills of the older girls are quickly evolving to a new exciting representational (well, sort of) phase

• My pedometer says: 4.1. They easily went twice as far. And we didn't have time to nap.
