It was very nice having an 'assistant teacher'- Rowan, Hazel's big sister (and also in the very first cohort of Rivendellers in Oregon City). She led a craft in the morning and a science experiment called 'Dancing Popcorn' which was a really big hit!
Then we spent most of the day at the Tree Park getting a healthly dose of beautiful wonderful nature. I clocked 4.63 miles. You can be sure they did more. Expect a little loopiness.
