the fairyhouse platforms were toilet plungers

(and of course pretty much everything was a toilet that needed plunging)

the children were bunnies that go 'zzzzzz...zzzzz'

the gnomes were hunted and hung, stuffed into drums, rehung and rehunted

ornaments were painted

boxes for the ornaments were painted

ornaments were decorated

the ceiling leaked. when the water in the preschool bathroom was left running.

the chimichangas were very politely mostly not eaten

rest time was full of interruptions (such as leaking ceilings, and kids refusing to use the bathroom after lunch. And then having to pee. And then having to pee again)

the Tree Park looks different. We can see all the way to the Oregon Trail Museum

(i miss the colors)

we discovered drawing with highlights under the black lights

(on ourselves)

Syd was welcomed back

they really wanted to play BINGO, but they just aren't quite ready. maybe tomorrow.

and the most surprising thing of all, all four kids at afternoon snack ate 3 helpings of pumpkin pie (amazingly, that's all that is left from a Thanksgiving feast in our household)

December is off to a fine start. (The sunset was a few days ago, but now I know the Promenade is the place to be and wanted to share)
