September 16th

The last Tuesday of summer was hot and gorgeous. I will confirm this evening, but I think the swifts are still coming to the chimney at the Jackson High School across the street, and I invite you to join me and Nova on Friday right around dusk to watch the children frolic while the swifts circle and dive into the chimney. If nothing else it's fun to watch the sun set! Last year if I remember correctly, there was a large turnout from the Rivendell community, and no turnout from the swifts! Hopefully it's early enough this year.
