Beach Day!

I was a bit stingy on the captions, but Beach Day was a success. Besides riding the Rivendell Sea on our couch-boat, surving shark attacks (and dragon attacks), surfing the loft slide and deepsea diving, we invented Beach games: hide the beach ball, the classic shell game, and telling sea creature stories in the Beach Tent. Then we went to the Clackamette 'Beach', held a crawdad, observed birds, threw a lot of rocks in the water, made new friends (but did not develop enough of a relationship to hug, kiss, or sit on laps which is a conversation in progress...) and had a picnic.

We took the 33 bus just to the bottom of the hill, and walked on up where we met my friend Heidi and her dogs for a fun break taking turns with her flinger. And a snack. And finally we met a girl happy to show her off new baby python.

I think we will all sleep well tonight.
