It was the best of times...it was the worst of times...

Fortunately, mostly best.

The weather was not quite a cooperative as my weather app implied it would be, and no one who promised to carry their umbrella when they weren't using it actually did (I didn't actually expect them to but a teacher can always dream!)...but we made it to the Madison Street 'Cemetery'...found a sheltered spot to eat some snack...admired the Halloween decorations...continued on to the library...and ate the second part of our snack at the Tot's Garden playground.

At times it felt a little like a forced walk (one person whining, missing home and mom can spread like wildfire), but then when we were almost home, Azrael suggested we turn around and go back to the Spook house. And spirits stayed very high for the rest of the day. Sometimes too high perhaps!

It was all character-building.

Most importantly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Sara, mother of Opal, wife of Roshawn, sister of Roxanne, and fabulous human!!!!! So glad you are part of the Rivendell community.
