November 4th

The week and month is off to a slow sweet start. We're keeping Thankfulness and Kindness right in front, in all things, and I'm trying to consciously slow down myself. We were joined by Felix and Zach in the morning. We know them from playing at LaTourette, and from visiting last week. It's nice having an extra adult and a new friend with us.

I appreciated

• that Weslee came up while I was doing dishes to tell me he had broken 'something fragile'. Accidents happen.

• that Eloise carried the backpack to and from the park, and set up the mats, and always has a hug for a friend in need

• that Daniel is leaping out from my shadow and playing independently with the kids and even joining wild loft play

• that Hazel really really rocks the clean-up thing. and is always kind

• that Skylar is dressing up and sharing more easily with her friends

• and that Honey is outgoing and sunny and always ready for fun

I thought it was an excellent day.
