And with three boys and a bonus girl, we wrap up Dr. Seuss week: Goodbye, Seuss

We dressed up quite silly—oh my, what a sight!

With hats tall and wobbly and socks not quite right.

We read lots and lots of the stories we love,

Of Sneetches and Whos and things flying above.

We invented new games that were wacky and fun,

We hid the Cat’s hat—oh! the hunt had begun!

We painted strange Truffulas, swirls red and blue,

And made Seussian art like true Whos like you.

But now Seuss Week’s ending—how quickly it flew!

Our laughter and stories and silliness, too.

It’s sad to move on, but one thing is true—

The Seuss in our hearts will stay with us and you!
