The afternoon consists of the kids playing wild and crazy games, usually involvinging Azrael and Ezra growling and roaring, Opal jumping around this way and that, and some sort of 'family' with Honey and Hazel dressed up, and lots of exciting plot and running around and going up and down the loft...interspersed with me setting up art activities (water colors?) and games (memory? who wants to pick a game now?), block towers? and reading to stuffed animals to give them a break and some calm (okay, it's to give ME some calm). Their games are awesome, but someone always gets hurt and it's awfully loud. Happy loud (mostly), but loud. Fortunately they are quick to point out 'it's on accident' when an incident occurs. And holy cow, Hal can sleep through anything!
Pajama Day was fabulous, with every single Rivendell stuffed animal coming out to play. So many opportunities to learn, sort, count...PLAY!
Special teacher moment: Opal decided to keep her boots on even when Ezra took hers off to frolic in the mud. Bravo!
HAPPY EQUINOX!!!!! SPRING IS HERE
