Did we get fancy? Yes we did! We dove deep into fancy and did some fancy thinking, fancy eating (pinkies up, please!), fancy dressing, and fancy ranking. We were fancy, we fancified the room, we dressed animals, we judged everything on a fancy scale, from animals to food to activities to dogs to houses to music. (Note if you ask for a fancy song, you get 'Fancy' by Drake which we all agree is not fancy at all). You'll see pictures of flowers we gave a high fancy rank, and classy cars too.

And 'fancy' was just right for celebrating Hazel's Rivendell birthday, her last day being three at Rivendell. Hazel is a fancy girl. She is probably underrepresented on the blog. That's because she is not glued to the teacher, she's not jumping up and down saying 'watch me, watch me!', and I'm not sure she's ever tattled on a friend. She's capable and competent and rarely requests my assistance. And has been since she started at age 2! When I start reading a story, she usually joins me on the couch. (Without creating seating issues). And she takes good care of her friends. The dress-up corner is her favorite, and I'm sure she's donned every dress. And, teacher's dream, she cleans up quickly and efficiently with no fuss, regardless of whether it was 'her' mess or not.
