bird, bird, bird....bird is the word.

the bird stuffies came out of the closet

the sensory bin is filled with bird seed, birds and marble eggs

i have books and books of birds, fiction and nonfiction

i've got some bird crafts lined up

and now we shall see where it goes this week.

(the kids might not even notice I'm having 'bird week')

we mixed it up with a morning picnic at the field.

a field trip to the field! what a trip.

we beat the heat , we beat middle school recess and we listened to the birds in the walls. the rock wall around the field is filled with nests, and at the right times, you can see birds flying back and forth. we didn't hear much this morning and bird action was limited. but then again, we weren't very quiet.

today we Ezra joined the group, and Hal stayed home. I have to remind myself that Weslee and Eloise don't cross paths with Ezra

it was a sweet day

tomorrow Joel will take over preschool at 4:30 so I can rush off to a training across town
