January 27th

I love that Delilah has started a choir. She has blocked out spaces on the floor, and enrolled everyone to join except Brooks (so I try to keep him busy..). They are practicing their first song, Dance Monkey, and have a book of lyrics to illustrate. Stay tuned. Delilah also knows that organizing an activity is much like herding cats.

I love that these kids are all generators. They generate creative idea of things to do, places to go, art to make, and games to play. I focus on supporting them in their interests. I have discovered that having a firm agenda is less successful.

In sum: it was a most excellent day despite a few little learning incidents!
