I have a new favorite art activity:

• spread shaving cream on a tray (or whatever) with a ruler (or something like that).

• drip drops of food coloring all around the shaving cream

• gently mix the colors using a skewer (or something like that)

• place a piece of card stock (or any paper really) over the shaving cream and gently push down, just enough to ensure the paper is covered

• flip over and remove any shaving cream left

• ta da!

And here's the recipe for playdoh:

• 1 cup of salt

• 2 cups of flour

• 3 tbls of cream of tartar

• 2 cups of water

• 2 tbls of oil

• food coloring

• mix the dry ingredients first, then mix in the water and oil

• cook over medium heat until it becomes playdoh

Twas' a good Tuesday. And the sun came out to play.
