August 4th
The month is off to a fine start.
Georgia loom-knitted a not-a-hat, made pom-poms, and had her first lesson on a sewing machine and made a pillow. And she made flubber.
Brooks played a lot with Vienna using legos, magnets, little bits of tissue paper (fire bombs?) and the playmobile. And he discovered the ukele, enjoyed the kinetic sand and loved on the guinea pigs.
So of course Vienna played a lot with Brooks, using the legos, magnets, little bits of tissue paper (fire bombs?) and the playmobile! And also the kinetic sand. She also did some hot gluing and stuck together a bunch of pom-poms.
Delilah spent most of her time with the animals, feeding the fish, the guppies, the axolotls and the piggies, and she discovered a dead cichlid I hadn't noticed, and possibly a new baby plecostomus. She also made a horse and rider with a hot glue gun.
Elvis spent a while with a new building set, played with legos a lot, and discovered a way of sucking up the broken balloons with the water squirter.
We all enjoyed a walk in the neighborhood, and a game of hide-and-seek.
