August 28th

An excellent Thursday crew of kids. We had to pivot when the library was closed for staff training, but everyone was flexible. We played at the splash pad, got hot at the playground there, and went to the Tot's playground across the street to climb trees. Our picnic was interrupted by yellow jackets and fear, so we cut our lunch short and hightailed it to the safety of home. Well, let's just say we went as fast as 7 hot tired kids can go. Rest time was optional and short, free play long and messy. Clean up...well...is it fair that some kids do all the clean up and some kids do none? I personally think not.

Second to last day of Summer Camp...I'm a little sad...and a little ready for the next chapter.
