August 27th

We are taking advantage of this last week of summer camp, and summer itself which seems to rapidly be slipping away. Today we had a morning picnic at LaTourette, and stopped at the pool on the way home. At the end, it was all ours! Where is everybody?!

We also enjoyed visiting with Naga, lots of legos, spin art, and making paper chains.

And we have returned to Classic Rest time. Or maybe I should just call it story time. Everyone has a mat. I read a picture book. I read a chapter book (or something similar like a fairy tale or magical creatures). And those awake at the end quietly come out for twenty minutes or so of "quiet alone" activities. It went well today. And could go even better tomorrow!
