Happy Earth Day!
We celebrated our lovely little planet all sorts of ways today:
Elvis and Brookes explored the Arctic in the little green pool...
We all reused our snack plates drawing Earth Day scenes as inspired
We ate the bounty of the earth three times today (though Pirate's Booty is several times removed from actually being produced from the earth)
We made wind chimes with the natural materials we collected and lid rings
We took a walk in the drizzle collecting natural materials, mostly blossoms, appreciated Spring in its full glory
We painted more rocks to share in our community
Many hands explored the bird seed in the sensory bin
We reused all the recycled materials and turned a box into a two-floor structure, complete with door and decorations and what not.
And we planted seeds in egg cartons. No, they are not growing yet. Yes, you can check. Again. But they might grow better left alone. Let's see. It's an experiment.
Blessed to share the planet with such a fine young bunch of humans. Counting on you to make the world a better place.
